Advance Payment Insurance

This insurance covers losses incurred if Japanese companies make a prepayment for goods under the purchase agreement but the goods are not delivered to Japan or other foreign regions in accordance with the agreement, and if the prepayment is not returned even after the companies make a refund request for the prepayment based on the predetermined refund terms due to 1) war, revolution, prohibition of foreign currency exchange, and suspension of remittance, or 2) bankruptcy or default of the counterparty.
