Uzbekistan/Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation between NEXI and Uzbekinvest

Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI; Chairman and CEO: Atsuo Kuroda) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation (MOU) with Uzbekinvest Export-lmport Insurance Company JSC (UZBEKINVEST).

The signing ceremony took place on October 22nd, 2025 between Mr. Rustam Azimov, Director General of UZBEKINVEST and Kazuki Hondo, Senior Managing Executive Officer in Ottawa, Canada.　

In 2007, NEXI and Uzbekinvest signed a MOU¹ to expand business opportunities for both countries, and this MOU was signed to facilitate further cooperation between the two organizations, including cooperation on exchange of information and reinsurance cooperation in support of Japanese companies' trade and investment in Uzbekistan.

The newly signed MOU is to develop further cooperative relations between Uzbekinvest and NEXI, and it is expected to promote trade and business between companies of both countries through exchanging of information and know-how.

NEXI will continue to strengthen its cooperation and relationship with Uzbekinvest and contribute to support the overseas expansion in Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries.
