Signing MOU with Africa Finance Corporation

Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation with Africa Finance Corporation (AFC). The signing ceremony took place on August 21st between Mr. Samaila Zubairu, President＆CEO of AFC and Atsuo Kuroda, Chairman and CEO of NEXI in Yokohama, Japan.

This signing ceremony was held in conjunction with the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9), which is scheduled to take place from August 20th to 22nd.

This MOU aims to leverage the expertise and resources of both NEXI and AFC to promote economic development and improve the quality of life in African countries and Japan. This MOU also seeks to strengthen the framework of cooperation between NEXI and AFC by promoting initiatives of mutual interest, such as collaboration and support in investment and financing projects that contribute to enhanced economic partnerships.

NEXI, as a governmental financial institution of Japan, will continue to actively support projects that contribute to strengthening bilateral and multilateral economic partnerships by deepening collaboration with international financial institutions and government-affiliated financial agencies of other countries.
