Republic of Poland/Signing MOU with KUKE, ECA of Poland
Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI)
Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on cooperation with KUKE, ECA of Poland (KUKE S.A.).
The signing ceremony took place on May 4th at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology (Warsaw, Poland) between Janus Władyczak, President and CEO of KUKE S.A. and Hidenobu Teramura, Senior Managing Executive Officer, Member of Board of NEXI, attended by Yasutoshi Nishimura; Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry, and Waldemar Buda; Minister of Economic Development and Technology.
The MOU’s main purpose is to establish the framework of co-operation between KUKE S.A. and NEXI in supporting and encouraging trade and investments from their respective countries, as well as, to strengthen such co-operation and the exchange of information in order to achieve co-ordination of their respective activities. As one of the MOU signed during Minister Nishimura’s visit to Poland, it is expected to promote trade and investments between Japan and Poland, strengthen economic relations between the two countries and promote business by Japanese and Polish companies in third countries including Ukraine.
NEXI will continue to support Japanese companies’ exports to, investments in, and loans for Poland, by building close relationship and exchanging knowledge and information with KUKE S.A..
