Nippon Export Investment Insurance (NEXI; Chairman and CEO: Atsuo Kuroda) and the Export-Import Bank of Thailand (Thai EXIM Bank) will jointly hold the Seminar on February 11th, 2020 in Bangkok, the Kingdom of Thailand (Thailand).
NEXI concluded a new reinsurance agreement concerning investments and loans with Thai EXIM Bank in June 2019, following the previous reinsurance agreement signed between the two parties in 20091.
Under this agreement, it is now possible for NEXI to provide support for joint investments/projects between Japanese and Thai companies, through a reinsurance framework.
In this seminar, we will be review the outline of the above-mentioned new reinsurance agreement, business schemes that we can provide support as well as the activities and product lineups of Thai EXIM Bank, for companies who are interested in expanding business into the third countries including Southeast Asia. This seminar will be served as a precious occasion to find out business opportunities in the third countries as Thai government officials will provide explains concerning business in the CLMV countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam) and business advantages and competitiveness in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC).
Thai companies will be also participating in the seminar, and Networking reception is planned after the closing. We would highly appreciate if you could find time to be present on this occasion.
