Invitation to side event at TICAD 7 (Registration finished)

Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI; Chairman and CEO: Atsuo Kuroda) is pleased to announce that it will organize a side event at the seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 7) to be held from 28 to 30 August 2019, under the theme of “Risk mitigation solutions to help unlock opportunities in Africa.”

This event is for those who plan to export to or expand business in Africa. Three experts from international financial institutions with a strong track record of supporting business in the African region, the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) group and the African Trade Insurance Agency (ATI), will give lectures on business opportunities and points of attention, how to use the services offered by international financial institutions, and the possibility of alliances between NEXI and the speakers’ organizations. Additionally, NEXI will give a presentation on a new framework to support transactions in Africa which is to be established in cooperation with the aforementioned institutions, as well as on its past results in the region.
