Since the signing of an MOU on reinsurance cooperation in December 2015, NEXI and EGAP had discussed detailed conditions. The purpose of the reinsurance agreement signed on this MOU is to explore the economic interests of the two countries and help develop third-country exports. The risk sharing between EGAP and NEXI through reinsurance is expected to help increase large-scale exports to third countries from the two countries.

NEXI will continue to support Japanese companies’ overseas business through reinsurance cooperation with other ECAs.
