As the Supplementary Provision of the Guidelines indicates, the Guidelines will be reviewed when necessary taking into account future review progress of the Common Approaches or the results of comprehensive review based on the confirmation on the implementation status of the Guidelines. The Guidelines will be reviewed as necessary as well as the timing when Japan Bank of International Cooperation (JBIC) revises the environmental guidelines that are similar to NEXI’s.
The Supplementary Provision of the Guidelines also states, “if it is deemed necessary to make the Guidelines consistent with the Common Approaches or if a change is deemed be a minor change, the Guidelines may be reviewed based on the premise that transparency will be ensured.” As specific procedure, we disclose the draft revision on the website and have opportunities to seek opinions of stakeholders through, for example, briefing session or public comment.
