The Guidelines stipulate that “upon completion of the screening of a project, NEXI discloses, as soon as possible” and “in a manner that allows enough time before decision-making on covering by NEXI.” Specifically, when screening of a project has been completed, NEXI discloses on its website, the project name, country, location, outline of the project, sector of the project, and its category classification, as well as reasons for the classification. In addition, the Guidelines defines Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) report together with environmental permit certificates issued by the project country’s government as " ESIA reports, etc." and in the case of projects classified as Category A and B projects, NEXI discloses an ESIA report and notifies its receipt on its website upon receipt. This is based on the idea that the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) report based on the environmental assessment system of the project country usually obtains the approval (environmental permit) of the country concerned.
