The Guidelines acknowledge the significance of dialogue with local residents to ensure appropriate environmental and social considerations. In conducting environmental reviews, the Guidelines stipulate for Category A projects that “NEXI confirms involvement of the stakeholders and the progress of disclosure in connection with the relevant projects.” NEXI will confirm whether or not consultations with stakeholders have taken place.
