The main points in Environmental and Social Standards Guidance Note 7 Appendix A are as follows.
-A summary of the Targeted Social Assessment,
-A summary of the results of the meaningful consultation, and, if required, the outcome of the process of FPIC carried out during project preparation.
- A framework for meaningful consultation during project implementation.
- Measures for ensuring indigenous peoples receive social and economic benefits that are culturally appropriate.
- Measures to avoid, minimize, mitigate, or compensate indigenous peoples for any potential adverse impacts.
- The cost estimates, financing plan, schedule, and roles and responsibilities for implementing the Plan.
- Accessible procedures appropriate to the project to address grievances by the affected indigenous peoples’ communities arising from project implementation.
- Mechanisms and benchmarks appropriate to the project for monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on the implementation of the Plan.
